A fifty-year experience and passion
In the early 40s, my grandfather, Vittorio Rizza, repaired the wooden parts of cars.
My father Gino told me that when he was a child he had been sent to a shop to learn tinsmithry – sheet-metal works.
In 1949, my father Gino founded the first Rizza body shop in Rome, in via Appia Nuova.

I still remember that at the age of 6, after school, I would run to my father’s body shop to see him working.
Working alongside my father, I learned the craft of tinsmithery and I understood that this would be my job.
