Ferrari 330 GT 2+2

“The Evolution of Ferrari’s Four-Seat Grand Touring Cars”

Introduced in 1964 at the Brussels Motor Show, the Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 marked the next step in the evolution of Ferrari’s four-seat grand touring cars, combining impressive performance with true long-distance comfort in a single automobile.

Designed by Pininfarina, it stood out for its elegant, flowing lines and for the distinctive four-headlight front end of the first series — a styling choice that was debated at the time but has since become iconic. Under the hood was Ferrari’s celebrated 4.0-liter Colombo V12, producing approximately 300 horsepower and capable of reaching a top speed close to 155 mph, remarkable figures for a 2+2 grand tourer of its era.

The second series, introduced in 1965, adopted a twin-headlight front design and a five-speed manual gearbox, further improving drivability and refinement. Produced until 1967 in just over one thousand examples, the 330 GT 2+2 is now regarded as one of the most balanced and elegant classic Ferraris of the 1960s.
